CPR – or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation – is an emergency lifesaving procedure performed when the heart stops beating. Immediate CPR can double or triple chances of survival after cardiac arrest. Keeping the blood flow active – even partially – extends the opportunity for a successful resuscitation once the person reaches a medical care facility.
Nightingale Empowerment Foundation's CPR training takes just a few short hours, but the skills you'll learn during the process can make all the difference to someone in need.
Nightingales Lifesaving Services provides a classroom-based, instructor-led course that teaches adult CPR. This course teaches skills with life-size mannequins along with hands-on techniques, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students' learning of skills. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a certificate. No prior experience is required.
Whether you're a medical professional who needs recertification, or you simply want to learn how to respond in the event of an emergency, our in-person and online training programs make it easy to get CPR training.
